Prega what??? Pregnant

So here it is August and just realized a few weeks a go that i am totally 100% pregnant. That's right I am pregnant with our first child or two, twins run on both sides of family so who knows what baking. I have had much nausea, dizzy spells, and heartburn like a mother. I tell you I was not this sick with my first born it was a breeze felt good bout 97% of the time and the other 3% I was just really tired. The sickness has really clouded my joy I feel absolutely awful my husband has made it his duty to try to make this sickness go away. That's what husbands do right??? well yes and no because laying face down is what feels best, the other night he comes in with a bag full of Preggy pops, granola bars, candy drops, I know the sales ladies were happy to see him coming I think he bought one of everything. Overall the Preggy pops really helped with the nausea and they helped me realize that anything sour was going to be my best friend for this nine month ride. Im really hoping I can keep up with the cake making but as for now its on hold because i cant even stand to smell the buttercream frosting. :((

For the past few weeks ive been keeping real busy with cake orders although I do feel a little out of it..... I truly think something is brewing! Probably just me taking on too many extra tasks and wearing myself out looking forward to just resting. Gabriels little league football schedule is so busy they practice three days a week and games are on Saturdays, I dont complain in front of him because I dont want him getting a sour attitude. He is truly enjoying it alot which is great I really feel children need sports and extra activities outside of school it helps to make them feel confident about themselves. Well the cake timer just went off so till next time enjoy these last few days of summer.

Blog??? What Blog????

I must say its been a while, months since i last posted but im happy to say its for a good reason. That reason being cake! i have been baking my tail off my classes have gone exceptionally well and i have gone above and beyond what ive been taught and taught myself alot along the way. What has made me happiest is that everyone is reallying enjoying the cakes, ive done many special orders and the results have been fabulous. Ive also created some of my own recipes for cake and icing, im even more proud to say that ive mastered making my own fondant its a real milestone, but thank goodness ive conquered it. Life has also been a whirlwind but we made it thru, int the last tree weeks we've been to 2 funerals and 1 wedding what a roller coaster of emotions but we made t thru. I am going to try posting some pictures of cakes iv been done while away from blogging. so stay tuned.
