SAHM!!!
So for anyone who isn't in the loop this little squirt here is my brand new baby girl. Her name is yarah she was born         4-8-11 At 5:57am, 7lbs 2oz, 20 1/4 inches long. She is just the most sweetest baby ever, not just because she's mine but she really is, an perfect in every way. Here she is with her big brother gabe. He has done so well with her always checking on her an kissing her every chance he gets.I love seeing her in his arms, even though I can't remember being held by my brothers when I was a baby I'm almost positive it was exactly like this. I really hope an pray they always have a special bond even there will be those times they are fussing it's just a part of growing up, you fight with your siblings but at the end of they day there's no place you'd rather be than snuggled right under your big brother or sister at night especially if your afraid of the dark. So now that I'm a wife an mother of two I'm an official stay at home mom!!! At times it's a thankless job but the reward is silent but huge, there's always something to be cooked, cleaned, sewn, built, etc alot of people think SAHM just sit in their jammies all day watch soaps an eat snacks...NOT!!! Some days you blink and the days over and you only completed two things off the "to do list" ill never know where the time goes. Like I said before being a SAHM can be a thankless job I wouldn't trade it for anything I love knowing that my children know I'm right there if they need me, even if my oldest is entering fifth grade and is too cool for me sometimes I love every bit of it! I'm so blessed to be able to stay with them. Thank you lord for this opportunity!

I gotta say this is a really amazing combination of flavors. Chocolate cake topped with almond buttercream and toasted silvered almonds, who could ask for more... Well maybe a cold glass of milk to wash down this chocolatey goodness but otherwise it stand alone just fine all by itself!

Long time no blog!!

Soooo I haven;t blogged in a while so heres an update Im 38wks and full as a tick! All has gone well until this week my blood pressure spiked and there are significant amounts of protein in my urine ugh! Long story short I was sent over to the hospital and was told I'd be there for 24hrs at the least all for them to monitor my blood pressure and do a 24hr urine protein test so they put me into a gown into the bed with strict orders of no lights or TV. Oh joy just what I wanted...Not! As time went on they realized it was a false alarm my B/P came down drastically and they decided to send me home with the urine test kit, now we're talking I'm going home. After the nurse pumped me full of water off I went and I was glad, I mean who wants to be there sooner than needed and for a semi false alarm at that. There's really no place like home unless your on a tropical vacation but I made it home and I am glad, although I'm going back on Thursday for a recheck I'm a little nervous but I think I'll check out ok and go home to finish out my last few weeks of the pregnancy and to top it all off my real doctor is out of town so I'd rather have her here to deliver than a fill in.

Second place trophy

What a day spent last night making green and black cupcakes for Gabes basketball team. The season didn't start so well but in the end we made it to playoffs and the championship, our play off game we won by one point and the championship we lost 3-13. It really hurt losing because the other team won by making all their free throws and for most of the game we couldn't even get the ball up the court. Gabriel managed to score two of the three points and another team mate scored the other point. It was nothing pretty. In my heart I really wanted the cupcakes to be victory cupcakes but that wasnt the case, as our coach headed to the center of the court to accept the second place trophy we could all see it had broken his heart as much as the youngsters he coached, we all knew the worked hard and deserved that first palce but somehow we had gotten robbed it was like a thief came and stole eveything we had worked for right before our own eyes. Although we had beaten other teams out of a chance to be here at the championship which was exciting we still wanted the first place trophy something that had a brand new shine,a new smell, look and feel, we would have rather not taken home another second place trophy we had already accomplished second place last eason, we even knew what it felt like. After leaving center court I gave Gabe the task of passing out the cupcakes my heart just couldnt handle seeing the sad little eyes who'd been beaten unfairly. The ride home was more than quiet I could tell we were all trying to figure out what had just happened we were baffled, and couldnt make any sense of it all no use in crying over spilled milk we just accepted what happened and moved on, nothing left to do but recollect ourselves and prepare for football season.
